Centre d'art image/imatge

Located in the heart of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the town of Orthez, the centre d'art image/imatge is dedicated to the promotion and diffusion of contemporary image
Installed in a new 250m2 space since the end of 2013, the art centre offers exhibitions all year round, with associated events and mediation actions designed to raise awareness among a wide audience. Its support for contemporary creation involves working with emerging and established artists through the production of works and publications or sometimes by hosting them in residence in the area.
The team is particularly attentive to the quality of the reception and support of audiences, whether groups or individual visitors, whatever their knowledge of art
