La Ferme Barraquet is in Lucq de Béarn, a charming village in the heart of the Jurançon AOC region and it is very close to the Domaine Larroudé, a well known vineyard. The farm produces homemade specialities with a duck based emphasis. No gastronomic trip around the Béarn is complete without a visit to the farm where the owner Claude will encourage visitors to try his chestnut pâté, inspired by a recipe from the Middle Ages as well as the more usual foie gras and duck confit.
