With Emmanuel Labat, proposed by HPPO (Histoire et Patrimoine en Pays d'Orthez)
In our fantasies, the Middle Ages are associated with magic and witches. But what was it really like?
At the sumptuous court of Gaston III dit Fébus, Count of Foix-Béarn (1343-1391), we know all about the role of poisons in the "Orthez drama", but do we know that some contemporaries took the Count for what we would today call a magician? What was magic in the 14th century? Through this prism, we can draw a new portrait of Fébus, far removed from the romantic medieval image.
