The Ossaloise transhumance to the plain is no longer carried out on foot, and the paths once used by the herds are gradually falling into oblivion. This study aims to trace these ancient routes, noting that this winter transhumance extended from Pont-Long and Entre-deux-Gaves all the way to the Gers and the Bordeaux region.
Weather permitting, Jean-Claude Lasségues will then lead a tour of the cemetery and its disc-shaped steles, as well as the church.
